AQUILINA BASSES, France,since 2004, custom basses made by Sebastien Aquilina .

Sebastien grew up in Brittany (north west of France) and has played with many bands (funk, jazz), as a bass player, and decided to become a guitar maker in 1996.
He graduated from The London Guildhall University in 1998, and the ITEMM (musical instrument technologie) in France in 2000.
After a couple of years working for LAG, Pourtoy and KOPO, he decided to work on his own in 2004. His work is dedicated to the electric bass, especially the single cut (thanks to Fodera).
There are five models; BERTONE, SHELBY (single cut) and TRITON (with Zon hyperbass like cutaway),T6 and SIRIUS bolt on neck for the Standard, neck thru body for the Deluxe. Each bass is custom made according to the musicians needs in terms of wood, number of strings, neck profile, electronics, etc.
